Brekelmans: We need to grow and conduct realistic exercises
Amsterdam, June 7 (Hibya) – Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans stated that to keep the Netherlands and its allies safe, the armed forces need to grow and carry out realistic exercises.
Defense Minister Brekelmans emphasized that the armed forces must expand and conduct realistic drills to safeguard the Netherlands and its allies.
He noted that various rules and bureaucratic hurdles are preventing this and added, “Therefore, we want to reduce the regulatory burden and simplify the process so that we can be ready more quickly.”
