UN: Local communities urgently need vital support
New York, June 7 (Hibya) – The United Nations (UN) has issued a statement regarding the escalating conflicts in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The UN announced that the growing conflicts in eastern DRC have forced thousands of people to flee their homes.
The statement said, “Refugees and the local communities hosting them urgently need food, shelter, water, and other vital support.”
