Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi emphasized the effectiveness of the ongoing bilateral contacts with Oman.

Referring to the content of the meeting and its security dimension, Araghchi said: "We had a very productive meeting with Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi. We expressed Iran's solidarity with Oman in the face of any threat."

Highlighting the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz and international law, Araghchi stated: "We discussed the Strait of Hormuz and its future governance in line with our sovereign responsibilities and international law."

Araghchi concluded his remarks with a message of regional dialogue, saying: "We welcome consultations with all neighboring states."
