According to a statement from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar’s Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met on Thursday with United Nations Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed, who is visiting the country.

Both sides reviewed the relations between the State of Qatar and the United Nations, particularly ways to support and strengthen these relations in the fields of international cooperation and sustainable development.

They also discussed preparations for hosting the High-Level Comprehensive Midterm Review Meeting of the Doha Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries, planned for next year, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.
