Advisors Urge Donald Trump to Declare Early Victory on Election Night
Washington, October 6 (Hibya) - According to people close to him, some advisors suggested that Donald Trump declare an early victory if he is sufficiently ahead of Kamala Harris in key battleground states like Pennsylvania. However, it remains uncertain whether Trump will follow this advice.
The general opinion is that if Trump has an advantage of several hundred thousand votes in Pennsylvania, or if his internal pollsters consider victory possible on Tuesday night, even if results are not fully confirmed, he has nothing to lose by claiming his win.
However, even his most fervent allies, including former White House strategist Stephen Bannon, who spoke with him last week, suggested that Trump refrain from making a statement if the race is very close before going to bed, as it could make him appear foolish.
