Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi held phone call with UK counterpart Lammy
Tehran, March 28 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyid Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation with British Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
According to a statement by the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Seyyid Abbas Araghchi spoke on the phone with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
Regarding the conversation, the following was noted:
"UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy spoke with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyid Abbas Araghchi on a variety of topics, including bilateral matters, regional and international developments, and nuclear issues. He congratulated his Iranian counterpart on Nowruz and the Persian New Year. It was emphasized that maintaining open communication channels between Tehran and London is important for more effective follow-up on bilateral issues and other topics of mutual interest."
