Zelensky: We are ready to host the US President's representatives in Kyiv
Kyiv, September 3 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he held a meeting with the team conducting talks with the US President's representatives, adding that they expect the representatives to arrive in Kyiv in the coming days.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made a statement regarding the ongoing negotiations with the US President's representatives.
Zelensky said he held a meeting with the team involved in negotiations with the US President's representatives and noted that the sides remain in contact 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Zelensky said preparations for the talks are continuing and preliminary dates for the meetings have been set, adding that they expect to host the US President's representatives in Kyiv.
Zelensky said the representatives confirmed that they would hold one meeting in Moscow and another in Kyiv, adding that they expect the Kyiv meeting to take place in the coming days.
Emphasizing the importance of the United States continuing to play an active role in the process, Zelensky said Ukraine is ready to hold a comprehensive and substantive meeting with the representatives in the country.
