Costa: We are working for a safer and more competitive Europe
Sofia, September 3 (Hibya) - European Council President Antonio Costa met with Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev in Sofia.
European Council President Antonio Costa announced that he met with Prime Minister Rumen Radev in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, as part of his tour of European capitals.
In his statement on the meeting, Costa said he and Radev discussed the EU's next long-term budget. He added that accelerating efforts to reduce energy costs for citizens and industry, as well as efforts to build a more resilient, competitive and secure Europe, were also on the agenda.
Costa also said they discussed Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine and Russia's dangerous escalation during the meeting.
