Zelensky: Unmanned Systems Forces struck more than 356,000 Russian targets in one year
Kyiv, June 11 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he presented state awards to personnel of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and handed battle flags to military units.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he presented the Order of the Golden Star to the family of a soldier who was killed in the line of duty and was posthumously awarded the title of “Hero of Ukraine.”
Providing information about operations against Russian targets, Zelensky said: “Thanks to our Unmanned Systems Forces, the number of Russian targets struck is measured in hundreds of thousands each year. Between June of last year and June of this year, more than 356,000 Russian targets were hit.”
Thanking the personnel serving in the force, Zelensky said: “I am proud of everyone serving in the Unmanned Systems Forces, from soldiers and sergeants to Magyar and all commanders.”
Zelensky also stated: “We always remember every Ukrainian warrior who gave his life so that Ukraine may live, remain independent, and stay strong.”
