Zelensky: Only an honourable peace can ensure true security
Kyiv, 4 December (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of cooperation with partners in the United States to achieve peace following the talks held in Moscow.
President Zelensky announced that Ukrainian representatives will continue their discussions in the United States with President Donald Trump’s team.
Highlighting the importance of the talks, Zelensky said: “Our current task is to obtain full information about what was discussed in Moscow, as well as the other excuses Putin invents to prolong the war and increase pressure on Ukraine.”
Zelensky added: “We are prepared for any possible development. Naturally, we will work as constructively as possible with all our partners to ensure peace — and ultimately an honourable peace. Only an honourable peace provides true security, and we fully understand that this requires the support of our partners.”
