Zelensky: Long-range strikes were carried out against multiple targets in Russia
Kyiv, May 31 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukrainian forces had carried out long-range strikes against various regions of Russia, including an oil refinery in the Saratov region.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukrainian forces targeted an oil refinery in Russia's Saratov region and conducted long-range operations at a distance of approximately 700 kilometers.
Zelensky said that targets were also struck in the Rostov and Kirov regions, as well as in Yaroslavl, Ryazan, Voronezh, Volgograd, Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, and Krasnodar. He added that a military base on the coast of the Caspian Sea was also among the targets.
Zelensky stated that the operations were carried out in accordance with a plan established by the Ukrainian Defense Forces and thanked the military, security services, and intelligence units.
