Zelensky: It was important to hear that Slovakia supports Ukraine’s EU membership
Kyiv, May 2 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a phone call with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and discussed bilateral relations and Ukraine’s European Union (EU) integration process.

Providing details about the call, Zelensky said: “We need strong relations between our countries, and we are both interested in this.”
Speaking about Slovakia’s support, Zelensky stated: “It was important to hear that Slovakia supports Ukraine’s European Union membership and is ready to share its experience.”
Referring to plans for mutual visits, Zelensky said: “I invited the Prime Minister to visit Kyiv and thanked him for the invitation to visit Bratislava. We also discussed the possibility of a personal meeting in the near future. Our teams will work on arranging it.”
