Zelensky: It must be clearly visible in the damage inflicted on concrete facilities in Russia
Kyiv, August 15 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about long-range operations carried out against strategic and military facilities located deep inside Russian territory.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said they had achieved new and critical results from extensive strikes aimed at limiting Russia's warfighting capacity, adding that the identified targets had been successfully hit.
Providing details of the operations, Zelensky said, "Today, we received important new results from our deep strikes. In Russia's Samara region, the Progress Center, one of Roscosmos' important enterprises and involved, among other things, in electronics production, was hit. Flamingo missiles were used. A good success. The distance from our border is about 900 kilometers."
Noting that the strikes also covered other strategic points, President Zelensky said, "Our long-range sanctions also reached the Savasleyka air base, where the carriers of Russian missiles that strike our cities and villages are located — about 700 kilometers from Ukraine. We also received confirmation of the damage we intended to inflict on an oil facility in Ust-Luga, more than 800 kilometers from our border."
Congratulating the units in the field and emphasizing his strategic objectives, Zelensky concluded his statement with the following words:
"I am grateful to all the units involved for their accuracy. Our long-range sanctions plan against Russia for this war is being implemented, and reducing Russia's war potential is important. Peace is needed, and this must be clearly visible in the damage inflicted on concrete facilities in Russia. Glory to Ukraine."
