Zelensky: It is our people who give strength to our Constitution
Kyiv, June 28 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky marked the 30th anniversary of the adoption of Ukraine's Constitution in a message for Constitution Day, emphasizing that the nation's Basic Law draws its true strength from the people.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a message on the occasion of Ukraine's Constitution Day.
Zelensky said: "Our state's Basic Law was adopted exactly 30 years ago. It is the women and men of Ukraine who give it strength. Our people are writing the pages of our history; they also bring the pages of our Constitution to life through their example, their actions, their work, and their struggle for Ukraine."
Referring to Ukraine's defining characteristics, Zelensky described his country as "sovereign, self-determined, democratic, governed by the rule of law, European, peaceful, and independent," concluding with the message: "Happy Constitution Day of Ukraine."
