Ukrainian President Zelensky made a statement regarding the drone threat in Russian airspace.

Zelensky said in a post that he had received information that the first airlines had begun suspending flights to airports in Russia following Ukraine’s announcement regarding the drone threat in Russian airspace.

Arguing that the development was a “correct and logical” response to the current circumstances, Zelensky said Ukraine had officially informed international organizations and its partners about the situation in Russian airspace.

Ukraine argues that risks to civil aviation have increased due to growing drone activity in Russia, while Russia says it has taken additional measures to ensure the safety of air transportation.
