Zelenski: Internal changes are essential for the army to fully achieve our goals
Kyiv, November 29 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski stated that internal changes are essential for the Ukrainian army to fully achieve the state's goals.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski announced that he held a personnel meeting primarily focused on energy issues.
He noted that responsible officials and commanders presented their reports, emphasized that restoration work continues across regions, and tasked strengthening air defense and engaging in negotiations with partners.
Zelenski added that Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi delivered a separate report on the current situation and developments in the Kursk operational areas and stated:
“Together with the Commander-in-Chief, we made several personnel decisions for our army. Mykhailo Drapatyi was appointed as the new Commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Ground Forces. Oleh Apostol was appointed as Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. These internal changes are essential for our army to fully achieve the goals of our state.”
