Crimea Tatar National Assembly (KTMM) Member and Professor Dr. Gayana Yüksel said that it is important to continue diplomatic activities under the temporary occupation conditions of Crimea.

In her statement, Yüksel said, "In April 2025, a unique exhibition titled 'Crimean Tatar Motifs' will be held in Bologna, one of Italy's most important cultural and art centers. The event was organized by the Bosphorus Academy initiative, which was established in 2023, and aimed to promote the culture of Turkish peoples among students learning Turkish. Such artistic events serve as a tool for telling the truth to the world, showing that the people have continued to preserve their cultural heritage and continue to share it with the international community despite war, repression, and forced migration."
