Dutch Defence Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius commented on the newly enacted legislation and its impact on the defence sector and the armed forces.

Highlighting the role played by entrepreneurs, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said, "Entrepreneurs are indispensable partners of the Ministry of Defence. With this new law, we are protecting and strengthening Dutch defence companies."

Emphasising that the armed forces' needs will be fully met, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius added, "We are also ensuring that the armed forces will never lack the equipment necessary to safeguard the security of the Netherlands."
