Yesilgöz-Zegerius: Defense preparedness law is necessary
Amsterdam, August 24 (Hibya) - Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yesilgöz-Zegerius said the military needs to be able to conduct exercises more quickly and realistically in preparation for the modern battlefield.

Yesilgöz-Zegerius said the defense forces need to be able to conduct faster and more realistic exercises for the modern battlefield.
Pointing to exercises held at the 't Harde Artillery Firing Range in the Netherlands, Yesilgöz-Zegerius said existing rules sometimes hinder military personnel in carrying out their work.
Yesilgöz-Zegerius said a Defense Preparedness Act is therefore needed, stressing that the country’s security requires armed forces that are ready for action.
