Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with International Maritime Organization (IMO) Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez in London.

Dar reiterated Pakistan’s longstanding commitment to the IMO and expressed appreciation for the organization’s role in ensuring that international maritime transport is conducted safely, securely and efficiently.

Dar thanked the IMO Secretary-General for his support for efforts to ensure the safe release of 10 Pakistani seafarers being held aboard the MT Honour 25. He called for urgent and effective institutional intervention to ensure the return of all seafarers to their country as soon as possible.

Dar said Pakistan continues its efforts to strengthen maritime governance, implement international maritime standards and develop its blue economy, adding that the two sides also discussed strengthening cooperation between Pakistan and the IMO in maritime security, safety, regulatory reforms and development of the maritime sector.
