WHO presents 2025 Public Health Awards to recipients
Geneva, May 16 (Hibya) – The World Health Organization (WHO) presented the 2025 Public Health Awards to six distinguished individuals and institutions during the WHA78 meeting, recognizing their significant contributions to the goal of Health for All.

The Sasakawa Health Prize
The United Arab Emirates Health Foundation Prize
The Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Prize for Research in Health Services to Promote Healthy Ageing
The Dr. Lee Jong-wook Memorial Prize
The Nelson Mandela Award for Health Promotion
The WHO recognized excellence and innovation in the field of public health through these awards.
