Sybiha: Do not buy stolen Ukrainian grain, do not be part of this crime
Kyiv, April 30 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that they welcome the decision of the vessel "PANORMITIS", which was transporting grain illegally from occupied Ukrainian territories, not to unload in Israel.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement regarding the fight against illegal grain transportation.
Referring to the importance of the development, Sybiha said: “It is a welcome development that the vessel ‘PANORMITIS’, which was illegally transporting grain from temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, will not unload in Israel. This demonstrates that Ukraine’s legal and diplomatic actions are effective.”
Calling on international actors, Sybiha stated: “This is also a clear message to all vessels, captains, operators, insurers and governments: Do not buy stolen Ukrainian grain. Do not be part of this crime.”
Emphasizing that they will continue to monitor the process, Sybiha added: “We will continue to track this vessel and warn everyone against engaging in any operations with it. We will also continue to strengthen international sanctions against Russia’s shadow grain fleet.”
