Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen issued a statement on Russia’s latest actions toward Europe. Von der Leyen said Europe was once again facing “reckless and dangerous Russian behavior.”

Von der Leyen said a Russian warship fired emergency flares dangerously close to a Danish helicopter, while an unmanned aerial vehicle that entered Lithuanian airspace was destroyed by NATO fighter jets.

Emphasizing that the incidents were not isolated, von der Leyen said they were part of “a broader pattern of Russian aggression and provocation toward Europe.” She said Russia was testing Europe’s readiness and resolve, adding, “Russia will see that our resolve is only growing stronger.”

Von der Leyen said Europe was strengthening its collective deterrence and defense capabilities together with NATO, while also increasing pressure on Russia.
