U.S. Government Employees Asked to Report Their Weekly Performance
Washington, February 23 (Hibya) - In the latest move targeting the federal workforce, employees began receiving emails on Saturday afternoon asking them to report what work they had done in the past week. The email stated that "failure to respond will be considered a resignation."
However, several national security agencies, including the FBI and other federal departments, advised employees not to respond to the email immediately, indicating that the executive branch was either unaware of the request or unprepared for it.
