UNRWA: We are supporting 2.4 million Palestinian refugees in Jordan
New York, February 1 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that it is supporting 2.4 million registered Palestinian refugees in Jordan.
In a statement, UNRWA reported that the agency is providing support to 2.4 million registered Palestinian refugees in Jordan, and that this support also includes communities living in 10 official refugee camps.
UNRWA stated that it is working to preserve the dignity of Palestinians and meet their long-term humanitarian and development needs through education, healthcare, and basic services.
