UNRWA: Aid distribution in Gaza has become a death trap
New York, June 5 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) emphasized that aid distribution in Gaza has become a death trap.
In a statement from UNRWA, it was stated that aid distribution in Gaza has turned into a death trap.
According to reports from international health workers on the ground, there have been numerous mass casualties in recent days, including civilians who died from hunger or were injured by gunfire. “People trying to obtain supplies from the Israel–US aid distribution describe horrific scenes,” the statement said.
It was emphasized that aid distribution must be large-scale and safe: “In Gaza, this can only be done through the United Nations, including UNRWA.”
