Kristersson: Ukraine wants peace, Russia does not
Stockholm, June 6 (Hibya) – Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said he met with Ukrainian children suffering from war trauma and emphasized that Russia’s aggression affects the Ukrainian people in every aspect of life.
Kristersson stated that Russia continues to obstruct peace efforts and has been maintaining demands since 2022 that deny Ukraine’s territorial integrity and its right to choose its own future. The Prime Minister said, “Ukraine wants peace, but Russia does not. We will continue to stand by Ukraine.”
