New York, September 30 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk issued a statement following his meetings in Bern, the capital of Switzerland.

Türk said he exchanged views on human rights priorities with Swiss officials and representatives of Parliament and civil society.
Thanking his hosts for the hospitality shown during his meetings in Switzerland, Türk said he appreciated the country’s commitment to placing human rights at the core of approaches to national, regional and global challenges.
