The State of Qatar strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a mosque in the city of Homs in the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic, which resulted in deaths and injuries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated its firm rejection of violence, terrorism and criminal acts, regardless of their motives, and rejected the targeting of places of worship and the terrorizing of peaceful civilians.

The Ministry, on behalf of the State of Qatar, extended its condolences to the families of the victims and to the Syrian government and people, affirming its full solidarity with the Syrian government and its support for all measures taken to ensure security.
