Ukrainian President Zelensky Meets Lithuanian Prime Minister Paluckas
Kyiv, December 20 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas.
Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that during his meeting with Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas, they discussed military cooperation, particularly the need to strengthen Ukraine's air defense to protect energy infrastructure.
Zelensky expressed his deep gratitude to Lithuania for its unwavering support and comprehensive assistance to Ukraine, saying:
"Your assistance is a vital contribution to our fight for a just and lasting peace. We highly appreciate Lithuania's decision to allocate 0.25% of its GDP annually to support the defense and security needs of our state."
Zelensky emphasized that Lithuania's new government made its first visit to Ukraine immediately after its appointment, stating: "This clearly demonstrates Lithuania's priority in our alliance. We in Ukraine deeply value this."
