Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha stated that the meeting with Germany’s new Foreign Minister Johannes Wadephul was one of Wadephul’s first foreign contacts as a minister.

Sybiha emphasized that Germany’s support for Ukraine not only saves lives but also strengthens Europe’s resilience, saying, “We are grateful to Germany as one of the leaders of the Volunteer Coalition.”

He noted that bilateral relations, joint steps, and ongoing contacts at all levels were also on the agenda, adding, “Ukraine and all of Europe look forward to the decisive leadership the new German government will provide.”
