Ukraine sends Independence Day message to Malta
Kyiv, September 21 (Hibya) - Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulated the people of Malta and its colleagues at Malta's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the occasion of Malta's Independence Day.
In a statement, Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it values Malta's support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, its stance against Russia's aggression, and its commitment to accountability.
The statement also highlighted Malta's support for Ukraine's European path and expressed gratitude for efforts to return Ukrainian children home, strengthen sanctions pressure on Russia, and prevent sanctions evasion.
The statement said, “We look forward to further deepening our partnership for justice, security and lasting peace.”
