Ukraine: Russia is torturing prisoners of war
Kyiv, June 26 (Hibya) – Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs claimed that the majority of Ukrainian prisoners of war and civilians held in Russia have been subjected to torture and ill-treatment.
Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a statement regarding Ukrainian prisoners of war and civilians being held in captivity in Russia.
The ministry claimed that the vast majority of those who have been released were subjected to torture, sexual violence, or ill-treatment, and called on the international community to increase sanctions against Russia and maintain pressure on it.
