Zelensky expressed gratitude to every country that supported their candidacy, stating that Ukraine has been elected to the IAEA Board of Governors for the 2023-2025 term.

Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine continues to be a reliable partner in the nuclear energy sector, saying, "We will make every effort to strengthen the important role of the IAEA and enhance global nuclear safety and security."

Zelensky highlighted the need for cooperation among those who value global security in order to put an end to any form of nuclear blackmail that Russia is attempting to normalize, stating, "Nuclear safety and security must be ensured."
