Abu Dhabi, May 4 (Hibya) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense announced that on May 4, 2026, air defense systems neutralized 12 ballistic missiles, 3 cruise missiles, and 4 unmanned aerial vehicles.

The ministry stated that the attacks originated from Iran and that 3 people were moderately injured in the incident.
The statement also noted that since the beginning of the attacks, a total of 549 ballistic missiles, 29 cruise missiles, and 2,260 UAVs have been intercepted; the total number of injured has reached 227.
