Tusk: Transatlantic leadership must be based on trust and shared values
Warsaw, 23 January (Hibya) – Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk emphasized that the leadership of the United States is based not on coercion, but on trust and shared values.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Tusk said at the European Union (EU) meeting held yesterday that the transatlantic community under American leadership is founded on mutual trust, shared values and interests.
Noting that this approach is accepted by all members, Tusk said: “Let us not lose this, dear friends. For me, this is the main message that emerged from yesterday’s EU meeting.”
