Tsahkna: Sanctions pressure on Russia must increase
Tallinn, October 3 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna welcomed Japan’s new sanctions targeting Russia’s shadow fleet and military-industrial capacity.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said sanctions pressure should be increased as long as Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine. Tsahkna said cutting off revenues used to finance the war is one of the powerful tools for changing Moscow’s stance.
Tsahkna noted that every step limiting the financial resources and means that enable Russia to wage war strengthens collective security.
