Tsahkna: NATO must remain vigilant and united
Tallinn, September 15 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said that after an unmanned aerial vehicle entered Lithuanian airspace, NATO quickly detected and shot it down, demonstrating the Allies’ determination to defend the Alliance.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna announced that an unmanned aerial vehicle that entered Lithuanian airspace during the night was quickly and decisively detected and shot down by NATO.
Highlighting the significance of the incident, Tsahkna said, “This is a clear indication of the Allies’ readiness to defend NATO territory and a reminder that Russia’s war against Ukraine directly affects the security of us all.”
Tsahkna concluded his statement by saying, “NATO must remain vigilant, united and ready to defend every inch of Allied territory.”
