Tsahkna: China should encourage Russia to end its aggression in Ukraine
Tallinn, November 4 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna began his visit to Beijing with an opening speech at the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), one of the world’s most influential think tanks.
In his speech, Tsahkna emphasized that international law is binding for all states, saying, “Estonia may be a small country, but we all have a powerful tool: international law. This universal framework must be respected by everyone.”
He stressed that Russia violates international law every day, warning that this poses a threat not only to small countries but also to global stability.
Tsahkna also called on China to use its influence to encourage Russia to end its “brutal aggression” against Ukraine and to respect Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
