United States (US) President Donald Trump commented on the ongoing process involving Iran and the steps that will be taken against those responsible for leaking information from within the government.

Referring to the possible strategies toward Iran, Trump said: "We can continue doing exactly what we're doing and dismantle them piece by piece. We can do it faster, and maybe we will—or we can negotiate with them, which is what we're doing right now."

Speaking about the focus of the investigations and those responsible for the leaks, Trump said: "We're not going after journalists; we're going after the leakers. We're going after people who are cowards, unpatriotic, and in many cases traitors, and the way to find them is through the journalists."
