Trump: The US is currently working on the biggest tax cuts in history
Riyadh, May 13 (Hibya) – US President Donald Trump has traveled to Saudi Arabia.
Donald Trump made his first major international visit to Saudi Arabia and delivered a speech at the US-Saudi Investment Forum.
Some highlights from his speech:
"It is a great honor for me to return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to be welcomed in this way. US–Saudi relations are stronger than ever and will remain so.
We will talk about many great things regarding the Middle East. Within three months, our administration has accomplished what previous governments couldn’t in four or even eight years. On my first day in office, we faced a massive invasion.
In just a few days, we reduced illegal entries by 99.9%. This year, only three people entered. We had to remove them from our country.
We are reclaiming the American spirit. About a year ago, people didn’t want to enlist in the US military.
Especially in the last four years, everything was done wrong. Now we’re putting everything back on the right track.
We signed a historic agreement with the United Kingdom, and also reached an agreement with China. We are now working on the details. China agreed to open its trade borders to the US. We had a very good meeting.
The US is currently working on the biggest tax cuts in history. If we succeed, our country will take off like a rocket.
Countries that imposed very high tariffs on us are now starting to lose. We achieved a tremendous victory in November.
We painted the American map in Republican red. Apple is investing 500 billion dollars. The US has followed the wrong path for many years; now we are entering a period of growth.
There’s no place better than the US to build wealth. We cut healthcare spending by between 50% and 90%.
We have the deadliest weapons. We do not want people in the Middle East bombing each other anymore.
We are entering an exciting period in the Arabian Peninsula as well. Eight years ago, I was in this very hall. What I saw at the expo, what Mohammed showed me, was magnificent. I saw many different towers. It was very exciting. We are doing a good job. It’s an exciting time."
