Trump says he is not considering giving Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine
Washington, November 3 (Hibya) – U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he is not really considering supplying Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles.
When asked about the matter by a reporter aboard Air Force One, Trump replied, “No, I’m really not thinking about it,” but added that he might change his mind.
Ukraine had requested Tomahawk missiles to carry out long-range strikes against Russia, but even without them, it has managed to successfully hit Russian military and strategic targets — such as oil depots and refineries — using its own drones and missiles.
According to Russian officials, on Sunday a Ukrainian drone struck Russia’s Tuapse oil port on the Black Sea, causing a fire and damaging two ships. Russian airports in nearby regions were also forced to close.
