US President Donald Trump commented on Boeing's 737 Max model.

Trump said the 737 Max was “designed and able to withstand much higher G-forces and stress than expected,” describing this as “a magnificent demonstration of precise and strong structural planning and design.”

Arguing that Boeing is “by far the best” among companies producing commercial passenger aircraft, Trump said the company should be recognized for the performance demonstrated by the 737 Max.

“It is time to give credit to the incredible genius of this aircraft,” Trump said, congratulating Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg, as well as the company's executives and employees, for “doing a good job.”
