Trump nominates Kevin Warsh for Fed chair
Washington, Jan. 30 (Hibya) – U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he has nominated former Federal Reserve Board member Kevin Warsh for the position of Fed chair.
U.S. President Trump said he was pleased to nominate Kevin Warsh as Chair of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
Stating that he has known Kevin for many years, Trump said: “I have no doubt that he will be remembered as one of the greatest Fed chairs, perhaps even the best. Beyond all that, he is truly a ‘center-picked’ choice and will never let you down.”
