Zelensky: Sweden is one of the strongest supporters of Ukraine’s defense capabilities
Kyiv, February 19 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Sweden will provide Ukraine with its largest defense aid package worth approximately $1.4 billion.
President Zelensky stated that Sweden will deliver its largest defense assistance package to Ukraine, valued at around $1.4 billion.
Zelensky noted that this aid will significantly strengthen soldiers on the battlefield and help protect critical infrastructure in the airspace from air attacks, adding: “Sweden is one of the strongest supporters of Ukraine’s defense capabilities, and this package builds on our historic agreement regarding Gripen aircraft and broader defense cooperation.”
