Tajani: We are closely monitoring the knife attack in the United Kingdom
Rome, November 2 (Hibya) – Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani made a statement regarding the knife attack on a train in Huntingdon, United Kingdom.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tajani said that Italy’s embassy and consulate in London are closely monitoring the incident in which several passengers were stabbed on a train in Huntingdon.
He stated that there is currently no information indicating that any Italian citizens were involved, and that the motives behind the attack remain unclear. Tajani added: “I wish a speedy recovery to the injured and express my solidarity with the people of the United Kingdom affected by this horrific event.”
