The Syrian Presidency announced that President Ahmed al-Sharaa inaugurated the Syrian International Textile Fair "Nas Tex" at the Conference Palace in Damascus.

According to the Presidency, al-Sharaa was accompanied at the opening ceremony by a delegation of ministers as well as local, Arab and international representatives.

Speaking at the opening, al-Sharaa said the textile sector is an important part of Syria's industrial and handicraft identity, adding that it will contribute to economic recovery and reconstruction, support employment, and strengthen the presence of Syrian industry in regional and international markets.

Al-Sharaa later toured the exhibition hall and received information about the textile products and industrial works displayed at the stands.
