Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha drew attention to Russia's efforts to legitimize war crimes, stating that judicial and media actors involved in this process serve the same purpose as the military.

Criticizing Russia's methods and disinformation network, Sybiha said, "Russian aggression is based on weapons, propaganda, and repression. Judges issuing politically motivated rulings against Ukrainians and media organizations legitimizing war crimes serve the same purpose."

Referring to Ukraine's legal measures against these structures, Sybiha concluded his message by saying, "Today, President Zelensky imposed sanctions against Russian propagandists, propaganda organizations, and judges responsible for the persecution of Ukrainians."
