Kyiv, March 24 (Hibya) - Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a phone call with the Netherlands’ Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen.
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Sybiha held talks with his Dutch counterpart Tom Berendsen.
Thanking the Netherlands for its leadership and steadfast support, including in defense, sanctions, and accountability, Sybiha said: “As Russia continues its daily terror attacks against Ukraine, we focused on ways to strengthen Ukraine’s resilience and defense capacity.”
Sybiha underlined that air defense must remain an absolute priority to protect civilians and critical infrastructure, stating: “The Netherlands’ support under NATO’s PURL initiative makes a significant contribution to our security. I also emphasized the importance of increasing pressure on Russia and advancing support for Ukraine. This includes unlocking a €90 billion EU loan.”
