Rovaniemi, September 14 (Hibya) - Finnish President Alexander Stubb met with German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz as part of the European Arctic Summit held in Rovaniemi.
Finnish President Alexander Stubb said they had a highly productive meeting with German Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
Referring to the main topics of the meeting, Stubb said, "We discussed security in our shared Baltic Sea region, preparedness and response processes against hybrid threats, and the importance of the Arctic region."
Drawing attention to Finland's role in these areas, Stubb concluded his statement by saying, "Finland has extensive expertise in these fields, and the knowledge it has accumulated is also of great interest to others who are eager to learn from it."
